Matthew 7:7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- Asking indicates that something is lacking.
- Seeking indicates that something is missing or lost.
- Knocking indicates that something is closed, inaccessible, and urgent.
Matthew 7:8 For everyone (that's you) who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
