Christians and Holiness
1. Christians are created in righteousness and true holiness (Eph. 4:24)
2. They are commanded to live in holiness before God all their days (Luk 1:75; Rom 6:19: Heb 12:14)
3. They must bring forth fruit unto holiness (Rom 6:22)
4. They must perfect holiness in the fear of God (2Co 7:1)
5. Must have hearts unblameable in holiness before God (1Th 3:13)
6. They are called to holiness (1Th 4:7)
7. They must continue in holiness to be blessed (1Ti 2:15)
8. They must govern lives according to holiness (Tit 2:3)
9. They must be partakers of holiness (Heb 12:10)

- They cause division and bondage among Christians (Act 13:6-12; 2Ti 4:14-15; 3Jo 1:10; Gal 2:4).
- They cause offenses against truth (Rom 16:18).
- They do not serve God (Rom 16:17-18).
- They serve their own bellies (Rom 16:18; Phi 3:19).
- They use slick tongues to deceive (Rom 16:18).
- They are enemies of the cross (Phi 3:18).
- They walk contrary to the Gospel (Phi 3:17).
- They glory in their shame (Phi 3:19).
- They mind earthly things (Phi 3:19).
- They bring in heresies (2Ti 2:17-18; 2Pe 2:1).
- They are insincere, dishonest, hypocritical, and phony (Mat 7:15).
- They exalt themselves (2Jo 1:9-10).
- They are boastful (2Ti 3:2).
- They associate with other false ministers (Mat 15:14).

- They are greedy for profit (Tit 1:10).

5. They do not commit iniquity (Psalm 119:3).

7. They enjoy God's Word (Psalm 119:14,16,111).
8. They trust God's Word (Psalm 119:42).
9. They refrain from every evil way (Psalm 119:101).
10. They incline the heart to obey God (Psalm 119:112).
11. They hate vain thoughts (Psalm 119:113).
12. They hate every false way (Psalm 119:128).
13. They hate and abhor lying (Psalm 119:163).
14. They are zealous for God (Psalm 119:113,140).
15. They love the Word of God (Psalm 119:139).
16. They have great peace (Psalm 119:165).
17. They permit nothing to offend them (Psalm 119:165).
18. They preach God's Word (Psalm 119:46,172).

If one will walk in all these ways the promise is, they will "walk with Me in white" (Rev. 3:4).

Love, Love, Love
Four commands to "Love":
1. Love your enemies (Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:27,35).
2. Love your fellow Christians (John 13:34; John 15:12,17; Galatians 5:14; 1 Peter 2:17; 1 John 3:23; 2 John 1:5).
3. Love the brotherhood (1 Peter 2:17).
4. Love your brother (1 John 4:21).

Purpose of the 5 Fold Ministry
The apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher were given to the church to:
- Perfect the saints (Ephesians 4:12).
- Equip (supply and train) all believers for ministry (v12).
- Build (edify) up the body of Christ (v12).
- Unite all believers in faith and doctrine (teaching) (v13).
- Impart knowledge of Jesus Christ to all believers (v13).
- Bring all believers to the measure and stature of the fullness Christ (v13).
- Teach sound doctrine so believers will not be deceived (v14).
- Teach the truth in love to make mature believers (v15).
- Make all believers productive in the Church (v16).
